About The Midland Salvation Army Community Church
Who we are
The Salvation Army first came to Midland, Ontario in March 1885. Starting with just one or two individuals and small, rented space on King Street near Hugel Avenue. Having served the North Simcoe area continuality for over 140 years The Midland Salvation Army has provided many different supports and programs.
In the beginning, it was often members of the congregation that helped community members with food support out of their own resources. Today we receive support through local donations and private grants, and funding.
Our history

The Salvation Army continues to be a community-based organization in which those who are marginalized can find support. We strive to provide a welcoming environment for everyone.
We celebrate with our community that through the work done here in Midland / North Simcoe many people have been able to stop the cycle of poverty and addiction.
